WASHINGTON, DC — 270 Strategies founding partner Mitch Stewart is featured in today’s Campaign & Elections magazine’s 50 Influencers to watch ahead of the 2014 election cycle. Stewart was included as one of ten “Campaigners” to watch, one of five categories that also included “Communicators,” “Disruptors,” “Enforcers,” and “Activists.”
Stewart co-founded 270 Strategies in January 2013 and leads the firm’s Washington DC-based operations. He previously served as the Battleground States Director for President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign, where he oversaw a state strategy and program that garnered victories in nine of the ten battleground states. In this role, he helped build what The Guardian called “a historic ground operation that will provide the model for political campaigns in America and around the world for years to come.”
Campaigns & Elections writes: ‘the stage is still being set for the final midterm election of the Obama administration and while it’s not easy to predict what will move D.C. several months from now, these 50 leaders are sure to be in the mix.’
