Eric Hernandez is a Data Project Manager at 270 Strategies. He specializes in delivering innovative insights to clients, developing data management strategy, and implementing long-term data-driven solutions. With a range of experience between the private and public sector, he prides himself in his ability to swiftly understand and brainstorm solutions to clients' biggest challenges.
Eric's path to the firm started when he took a policy-based fellowship through the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) in 2013. Placed with then-Rep. Xavier Becerra, Eric's introduction to D.C. was also a crash course on politics and policy, as he looked to transition from a career in engineering to the public sector.
After the next two years on staff at CHCI coordinating programs, as well as reframing survey and recruitment efforts, Eric joined Hillary for America as a Deputy Data Director in Florida in 2016. More recently, Eric supported federal government client solutions with Guidehouse (formerly PwC Public Sector).
In his spare time, Eric enjoys running (he’s a two-time marathoner), volunteering with the CHCI Alumni Association, talking about his hometown of Detroit, and going on spontaneous adventures around town. He earned his bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and currently resides in Washington, D.C.
