Project Director Gregory Christensen

Gregory Christensen is a Project Director at 270 Strategies, specializing in campaign messaging, coalition building, and brand reputation management. His work is primarily focused on supporting utility-scale renewable energy projects in communities where economic development opportunities collide with small-town lifestyles. Gregory knows that an informed public is key to a project’s success. He produces engagement strategies to tamp down misinformation campaigns, push back against opposition actions, and build local consensus for projects to reinvigorate Main Street USA.

Before joining 270, Gregory held positions on various campaigns from the state legislative to the presidential level. His work took him from coast to coast before landing in the Midwest. Today, Gregory serves as a voting member of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Association of State Democratic Committees. He spends his spare time supporting candidates across the country in campaigns for state & federal office.

Gregory holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Communications, a Master of Science degree in International Relations and Diplomacy, and a Master of Arts degree in Strategic Communications and Public Affairs.

As a native of Southern California & the Pacific Northwest, Gregory enjoys working on projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect our natural resources. After work you can find him planting trees, volunteering with Iowa’s Biggest Book Sale, or walking his rescue dog – Wolf Blitzer.
